Over the past decade, O’Hara Catholic School has completed more than $10 million in capital improvements, all without taking on debt. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community. This summer, we planned to complete several important exterior upgrades using reserved funds, including new siding on the primary wing, full building repainting, exterior door replacements, and an updated front awning.
However, during the preparation phase, our architect and contractor uncovered unexpected but critical issues that require immediate attention.Addressing these needs now, alongside our originally planned projects will minimize future disruption and reduce long-term costs. As a result, the total cost of the project has more than doubled.
We have secured a loan from the Archdiocese to move forward if necessary, but our goal is to fund this expanded project through the support of our school community.
Your gift will help us bridge the funding gap, maintain our commitment to financial stewardship, and ensure that O’Hara remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and families—now and for generations to come.
